Currency Currency of information is an important factor to consider. Current information can be found in periodicals (magazines and journals) and newspapers. Information in books is usually a little dated by the time the book is published. Books are good sources for overviews and in depth treatments of topics, but check for more current material in periodicals and newspapers to supplement and update your information. Sometimes currency is not as critical, but it is always important to remember the dates of coverage of any information source you are using. previous screen
