Exercise 4 Determining Oxidation States

Determine the oxidation state of metals in the following compounds. Note, for the transition metals which exhibit multiple oxidation states, you must first find the charge of the nonmetal ions. This information is found in Part I, "Oxidation-Reduction Reactions: A Basic Model".

Format to use for entering answers: for FeCl2, the answer is Fe+2
