Transferring Soon to a 4-Year College?

College Transfer Workshop: The workshop addresses strategies for a successful transfer, a glossary of transfer terms, information about transfer events, and frequently asked questions about transferring to another college.

Presentation: "Strategies for a Successful Transfer"

Identify your career area and major
Choose a college or university that suits your needs
Find out how your credits may transfer.
Plan your lower level classes in your major field.
Inform yourself about the following deadlines
--- Application, Financial Aid, Scholarship
Apply early
Transfer Action Plan.
Gather necessary application documents.
Recognize the value of an Associate of Arts degree.
Don't take your eyes off long term goals. (Education Pays!)
Ultimately, you are responsible for your own education.
