MyPlan: Campus Resources Planner

This hands-on workshop walks you through the MyPlan Campus Resource Plan Module. Learn about the various programs and services KCC provides to enable success in your studies! Find out how you can connect with your counselors, targeted services, tutors, peer mentors, workshops, technology resources, and student organizations. Kulia i ka nu?u!

Student Life Module: There's always something going on at KCC. Our campus offers a wide variety of opportunities from student organizations, clubs, to campus events and activities to engage in. Browse through this module and learn more.

Student Congress: Student government. By the students. Of the students. For the students.

Board of Student Activities: Your student fees at work! BOSA is the governing body which determines what student activities your fees are used to pay for.

Board of Student Publications: Your student fees at work! BOSP is the governing body which oversees publication of the campus newspaper and literary journals.

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society: Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society of the Two-Year College. Membership is exclusive to our best and brightest students. Find out how you can join.

Service Learning: Our Service Learning program acts as a clearing house of community service opportunities for courses which have integrated service learning into it. All students are welcome to participate in service learning opportunities regardless if they are enrolled in a service learning course or not.

Office of Student Activities: From student IDs to movie tickets to UPasses to locker rentals to student club and campus event info, the Office of Student Activities is the place to get hooked up for all your student activity needs.

Campus Events: there's always something happening on campus. The Office of Student Activities as well as various campus departments are always hosting events for the campus community. Check out the schedule of events and plan to attend something today!

 

Campus Clubs: Registered Independent Organizations (RIOs), or student clubs, can be formed by any member of the campus community. Check out the current roster of clubs to find out ones you can join today.

'Imiloa Groups: It takes a lot to succeed in college and we at KCC offer a lot of services to assist you to succeed in school. From tutors to mentors to workshops to technology tools, learn about all the resources we have to help you succeed.

Kapi?o Newspress: The school newspaper.

Journals: If you love to write submit your work to any of our three campus journals.

Learning Resources: KCC offers a multitude of learning support resources to ensure your success in the classroom. Equip yourself for success and learn about all the tools we have available.

Tutoring: Learning by its very nature is not always easy and that's ok. Tutors are either advanced students or learning professionals with expertise in a subject area who can help explain and help you master course content you're having trouble learning.

Workshops: Workshops are classes held outside of the academic curriculum to find you learn skills or complete tasks you need to succeed. Sessions vary widely from various study skills, life skills, technology skills or college processes such as transfer, graduation or financial aid assistance.

Councelors and Advisors: College is not just about studying! Get involved in campus activities! Join a campus organization or student club. Attend campus events. Learn more about what KCC offers beyond the classroom and how you can get involved!

Library: Whether you need to find a book or article for a class assignment or if you just want a quiet place to study the library has it all.

Peer mentors: It always helps to have a friend who's been there and done that and survived. Peer Mentors are students just like you who've succeeded in college and are here to pass on their knowledge to you.

Targeted Services: Recognizing that different types of learners have specific and unique learning needs, KCC offers a variety of services for specific types of students. Find out more about our targeted services to learn what is offered and see if you qualify.

Technology Resources: There's an app and a device for that! The fact is there's a TON of technology resources available for students today. Whether you need to find a computer on campus or connect to campus wifi or want to learn about cool apps to help you succeed in class, this module tells all.
