Course Description
A continuation of basic algebra topics, MATH 25 is the second course in a two semester sequence of Elementary Algebra courses. Instruction includes units on exponents, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions and equations, radical expressions and equations, and quadratic equations. See detailed objectives.

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Algebra, 2nd Ed.  Polynomials, factoring, radicals, quadratic equations and inequalities, graphing. MATH 25 topics are primarily covered in the second half of the book. A glossary is provided, as are about a dozen practice problems per chapter, with answers at the end of the book. 

Forgotten Algebra: a self teaching refresher course  Exponents, radicals, polynomials, factoring, quadratic equations, graphing. Includes worked examples and practice problems with solutions. Very revieworiented, with far more examples than exposition. 

Practical Algebra: A SelfTeaching Guide  Signed numbers, linear equations, graphs. Includes numerous practice problems, with answers provided. Also covers MATH 24 topics. 

Quick Algebra Review: A SelfTeaching Guide  A more condensed, revieworiented version of the above book. Includes practice problems with solutions.

Bob Miller's Algebra for the Clueless (2nd edition)  Covers signed numbers, ratio and proportion, linear equations, polynomials, and graphs, among other topics. Some very detailed example problems, with explanations given for each step in the solution. Lacks practice exercises.
