Circulating Books in KCC Library

Calculus An Applied Appoach - Precalculus review, functions, graphs and limits, differentiation, Derivative, logarithmic functions, integrations, functions of several variables, trigonometric functions, probability and calculus, series and taylor polynomials.
Calculus An Applied Appoach - Precalculus review, functions, graphs and limits, differentiation, Derivative, logarithmic functions, integrations, functions of several variables, trigonometric functions, probability and calculus, series and taylor polynomials.

Calculus made easy: being a very-simplest introduction to those beautiful methods of reckoning which are generally called by the terrifying names of the differential calculus and the integral calculus - Function, limit, derivative,

Online Books (ebrary) - KCC Students
Calculus Demystified - Coordinates, slopes, loci in a plane, trigometry, sets and functions, limits, continuity, derivatives, integrals, indeterminate forms, transcendental functions, methods of integration, application of the integral.
Schaum's Easy Outline: Calculus Crash Course - Functions, limits, continuity, differentiation, integration. Formulas for differentiation and integration of common functions. Many examples and illustrations, but no practice exercises or quizzes.
Calculus for the Utterly Confused (2nd edition) - Limits and continuity, derivatives, graphing, max-min problems, rates, integration, trigometric functions, exponential and logarithmetic, integrals.

Interactive practice and Tutorials

Calculus on the Web - Exercises are broken down into individual steps, and each intermediate answer is checked automatically. Produced by Temple University, with the support of the National Science Foundation.

Visual Calculus - Online tutorial with practice problems. Installation of the free LiveMath browser plug-in required to view some interactive graphs. Maintained by the math department at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The UBC Calculus Online Homepage - The 'Course Notes' section is written in a simple tutorial format, with examples and graphs. Some interactive practice is available in the 'Labs' section, although solutions are not provided, and animated examples can be found under 'In class demonstrations.'

Karl's Calculus Tutor - Explanations, examples, and diagrams. Some practice problems with answers linked, although these are not interactive; you will need scratch paper.

Calculas @ UTK (University of Tennessee, Knoxville) - (Visual Calculas) Uses flash as a medium to show examples. Covers functions and models, limits and derivatives, differentiation rules, application of differentiation, appendices.

Videos

Khan Academy: Calculus - Blackboard-style videos with audio narration. See also the preceding section on pre-calculus for additional coverage of limits.

Mathematics Animated - Uses animated graphs to show the relationship between the tangent and secant lines and the derivative. Requires QuickTime player.
