and Mission Statement To provide the skills and resources to assist KCC
students in getting through college. Description
and Background The Secret of Success (SOS) Program is under the umbrella
of the Library and Learning Resources - Reference Department. SOS Workshop series
is setup to help students better function in college by giving them the basic
learning and study skills. More than 30 workshops on various topics are conducted
each semester and 8-12 throught the summer. Over 500 students participate in the
various workshops through out the academic year. The
next steps for SOS is now being taken to provide increase the support of these
workshops via the web and support resources. In addition we are adding more online
and library resources that will be available to both students and instructors. Current
DVD's Available for viewing from Library Reserves (2 hr checkout) - Communication
